I’m Sarah Evans, Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas. My work sits at the intersection of libraries, literacy, learning, and community engagement. I’m especially interested in how people learn through stories, comics, play, media, and everyday information experiences.
As a researcher, teacher, and former practitioner, I collaborate with librarians, educators, students, and community partners to explore how libraries support learning across the lifespan. Whether I’m studying literacy, international librarianship, storytelling, or rural learning networks, my goal is to help create more meaningful and equitable opportunities for learning and connection.
